This August Lotz Independence Collection Redfield Futon's simple, yet, elegant design is based on durability. The patented conversion mechanism is front operating providing an easy transition from sofa to bed and back with no need to maneuver behind frame. Dovetail base and back slats are replaceable, allowing you to replace a small part rather than the entire frame if damage occurs. The semi-lock removable armrests are replaceable, allowing you to replace a small part rather than the entire arm if damage occurs. The rounded top-rail has no sharp corners or edges, providing safety and style. Its patented dovetail construction evenly distributes body weight, reducing wear and tear. The Independence Collection Redfield Futon's solid northern oak frame is offered in a grain enhancing medium or English oak finish. It is available in full, loveseat extension, and queen sizes.
