The Goldbond 108 futon mattress is much nicer than I had expected. The write up described it to be 8 inches thick. It is more like 10 inches thick. It bends fairly easy and then flattens to a comfortable mattress.

Will try to find out if it can be repaired. That is the only flaw we have found so far. Its on the right side (if you are looking at the futon) by the arm. If its used alot, as it will be, the tear will become larger

I use the Lotz Boston futon bed regularly and combined with the
mattress I purchased for the frame, I find it to be very comfortable,
sturdy, and good looking. The futon bed is actually in my living
room and doubles as the sofa. The frame goes well with my rattan
and other oak (antique) furniture. I think the Boston futon frame
would complement any decor based on antiques and/or rattan.

Bought this futon mattress for are cabin, it will be used for a couch and occasionally a bed for guest..We love it!!Has great form and structure,.also we slept on it one time so far and it was actually better than are mattress up stairs in our bed!!Would recommend to anyone that wants a good quality mattress without the high price.

We use this as a guest bed. Fold it back to a couch when we don't have guests. It's very comfortable to sleep on. Doesn't fold that well for use in couch position; but seems a reasonable trade-off for a comfortable mattress. [...] good value.

When I purchased this item I thought they would deliver it ready to use. Not, It came in a box on a pallet. [...] You need 3 people to put together. The mattress always slide over the leg landing, and its very uncomfortable for sleeping

We are very happy with the Rosebud frame. The rattan and rubberwood design looks terrific in our livingroom. The rounded armrests look much more high-end than your average futon frame, and coordinate well with other rattan furniture.

I love this sofa set. I have had many futons in my day and they all have varied in price dependent on my status in life. As a women in her 40s, who is more established with a place on the beach, I KNEW this was the perfect futon set for my family's home.
We rent out our cottage throughout the year so we knew that it was important to get something with high quality and a really good mattress and many people would be using it.
I like the character of this futon and I am glad that it came in a set because I am a very busy person who likes to get things done efficiently.
I would highly recommend this product.

I am a mom of a 3rd year student in college. I finally allowed my son to move out of the dorms and into his own apartment with some friends. As a gift to him, I wanted to get him a futon for his living room that was comfortable, durable, and has one of the biggest measurable sleeping areas comparatively to other futons. This is very important to us because my son is 6'6" and plays basketball. All his friends are tall too, so this futon is definitely working out for them.
Durability and comfort are key for any futon! I would definitely recommend this.
My only complaint is that my son says he would like to have arm rests on the futon next time to put drinks and possibly some storage.
