It is comfortable to sit and sleep. However, it weights 70 pounds (full size) so it is not easy to move. Otherwise it is great especially if one prefers to sleep on a mattress that offers support. It is a well-made futon with coils.

This futon matress is amazingly comfortable providing excellent back support but with enough flexibility to fold into a sofa for a futon. We love it. My son sleeps so well.

We have only had this mattress for 2 months, but my husband and I use this mattress on our queen size, 6 draw, captian's bed that does not require a box spring mattress (because or the draws underneath). We choose this bed to maximize the space in our small condo. This mattress fit the bed perfectly, although we thought it would be thicker...more like 6in instead of 8in...however it is comfortable but firm and the canvas material is a little rough, so we threw a down mattress pad one top and now the bed feels like something out of a hotel! It is a dream to stay in bed! and no sagging! And I can move around in the bed without disturbing my husband or spilling a bowl of oatmeal (yes I eat in bed)! We'll see if it wears quickly, but from the other reviews I read, it sounds like it is a sturdy mattress - which is why we got it for ourselves. 5 stars with a down mattress cover.

Service & Delivery comments:

My delivery time was reasonable because is was made to order, but the mattress had a small tear in one of the seams, obviously because of the huge amount of material packed into this mattress...you could tell it just pulled away. Other than that it was clean and HEAVY, but fine.

This is all I could ever ask for in a mattress. It’s total support and comfort So simple, so inexpensive. The denim so wholesome and basic. My bed history is a top of the line [...] with elaborate molded firm foam columns, box spring and memory foam topper. But I much prefer this. We use it on the “Floating Bed”, a large stainless steel pipe ring suspended from the ceiling from a cone of nylon cords, and a knotted hammock string support. It perfectly fits onto the ring of the Floating Bed.
