This is the primary bed for our 3 year old daughter. She sleeps fantastic on this mattress! We have had to sleep with her and it was comfortable for adults, too. It is somewhat difficult to set up in sitting position, and it does slide a little bit, but all in all a great futon mattress.

Futon Mattress is excellent. I lied on it as a bed and it was firm and comfortable. There's still a smell to it probably from the wrapping it was in and being in storage, but that's just minor. Other than that, I recommend this Futon Mattress and would buy it again.

The futon mattress is a perfect fit for the frames I already had. It's really comfortable but firm at the same time, so it definitely has the support I want. The only bad thing is the smell... I sprayed a bunch of fabreeze on it, and now it's much better. The fabric isn't the best quality, though. I would really recommend buying a cover for it.

Tough plastic bag in which it was shipped had a small rip causing futon to get dirty in that spot. Mattress has more give than straight cotton batting, but still is not very body-conforming. 82 year old mother-in-law slept on it for three nights and said she slept comfortably. Somehow I was expecting a removable cover, but cover is sewn on throughout. Mattress off-gassed bad smell for a couple of weeks.

Had problems ordering it--the order got hung up on-line just as I was clicking for the final time. I could not find out for an hour or so if my purchase had gone through--which it hadn't so I had to redo it. The futon came tightly wrapped in plastic w/o a box and there was a small rip in the plastic when it arrived and the cover was dirty, but it did wash out. The off-gassing has lasted a couple of weeks but is almost gone. The futon is pretty comfortable, not as memory-foamy as I had hoped. All in all, it's comfortable and I do not regret buying it.

I just got my new mattress. Overall it feels comfortable and is thick enough, but I am concerned about how the cover has been stitched/tied to the mattress. I will probably have to buy a cover because the ties created holes in the fabric that will probably cause tears in the fabric over time. I have only had this mattress about a month. I am quite happy with it so far. It is firm traditional futon support with enough "cush" to cradle my bones. It is medium heavy. One person can turn it and flip it. I did a fair amount of research and like the Wolf philosophy and guarantee. This is NOT an easily returnable product, so go lay on some local futons and study up before buying a mattress online...8 hrs can be a long, long time if you aren't comfortable!

Seems to be a quality built mattress. It's a lot softer than a normal, cheap futon mattress, but, it's not the softest mattress I've ever felt. We're using it as a foundation mattress for a full-sized foam "bean bag" foam mattress. Our teenage son says the combination of the Wolf Visco Plush mattress as the base, and the "bean bag" foam mattress for the top, is incredibly soft and comfortable. He loves them together!

I must say that I was skeptical at first. I had looked at futon stores in my area, and a 6" or 7" standard futon was going for $200+tax. My dad found this website for me and I was amazed at the great prices. The plush futons I had seen on other websites were $300+ plus $50-$100 in shipping costs. At first, I wasn't too confident in buying a $200 "plush" futon online that I hadn't tested. But I guess it couldn't have been worse than the lumpy ones I had seen in the stores, and I decided to go for it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The futon is indeed thick and plush.
