We purchased this for our daughter's third apartment, first one on her own. She loves it. Putting it together gave us an opportunity to spend time together and she has a small place which it fit in nicely. She says it is very comfortable and loves the flexibility of changing it to different positions. Really good deal for the cost. She is very pleased and so are we.

This futon is nice for smaller areas like dorm or small bedroom. Comfortable enough for teens to sit or sleep one. My daughter made her bedroom at home into a dorm and the futon is adorable in it. Will not sit two larger teens only aprox.250 max weight. Easy enough for my teen to put together and use the day she got it...Could be a little less flimsy..But She loves it.

The futon was purchased for my 7 year old grandson who has been diagnosed with Aspbergers. When it arrived he helped put it together and has no problem getting it and himself ready for bed. They used household tools rather than the ones in the box and it went together in about 15 minutes. Either the back support or the back pillow are inadequate. When an adult sits on the couch the back pillow pushes through the back and you are leaning on the top bar in the back. We put the side pillows under the back pillow to raise it and it works well. It only looks a little odd. Given the price and our needs we are satisfied, given our modification. We also considered attaching a piece of plywood to the back support to keep the pillow from pushing through.

The frame support for the back pillow does NOT keep the the pillow from pushing through so your back is up against a metal bar. It would also work if the back pillow was taller. We put the side pillows underneath the back pillow to raise it and it works fine and doesn't look too strange. With that change and the sale price ([$]) this is a good deal.

I've been sleeping on an uncomfortable 20+ year old bed until I bought this. A full sized bed would sound like a luxury for one person, but not for me. This futon is just my size. I am 5' 10" and I can lay across this futon and use it as a bed, which is an obvious plus. Assembly was simple, but using the tools provided were a bit difficult. I stripped the tools to death by the end of putting the entire futon frame together. The pillows provided are comfortable to lounge on, but I wouldn't use them as pillows for sleeping. However! Because there is space under the futon, it's perfect to hide all of the pillows that came with it, under it! Such convenience, huh? On a side note, for those who want to preserve their mattress and put sheets on it, I use Twin - Individual sized sheets. I couldn't find any sheets smaller for it, unfortunately. Overall, great product, and it delivers higher than my expectations!

I use my futon as a guest bed and office couch. I believe a 2 inch increase in width would make for a more comfortable sleeping area. Also, rachet the back to lie down. Very lightweight, easy to assemble, easy maintenance. Fabric is a little rough to the touch. Very mobile. In its present configuaration I would not want to sleep on it daily. Mattress could be a little thicker.

Purchased this futon for my daughters college dorm. [...] The bed seems sturdy and assembled easily. The ratcheting arms are a very nice feature allowing for use as a love seat and bed. It fit perfect under a lofted dorm room bed. Seems durable, but time will tell.

Easy to put together, but pay attention to the pics of how the legs go on. They come separately boxed in pairs for a reason. Very comfy for stretched out TV watching. Haven't tried sleeping yet, but have napped OK. Really like that it fits into a narrow spot in my study and does not have to be opened for sleeping.

We got this bed for our teenage son who has a small room and wanted a place to sit. He really likes it and uses it as a couch and his bed. It converts easily into a bed. It is smaller than a twin bed so it is best for a smaller person to sleep on.

I bought two of these. The different colors are great! Easy to assemble. Just love the way the sides fold up. I just wish there were covers available. Twin sheets are a little big for them and the cushion cover isn't removable. I would buy these again and again. The price is right too! They are awesome for my girls! Thanks!
